hey everyone –

sorry about my virtual absence over the last few weeks.  I’ve been very busy, and haven’t had any time to write any new articles or even post much.  I’ve gotten some emails asking why I haven’t written.  that’s part of it, and the other part is that I really need to feel inspired to write.  I can’t just feign interest in a subject.  usually what inspires me to write about something is when I see that no one has my perspective on it, or I see something about it that no one else sees.

so don’t worry, I haven’t given up or anything.  in my opinion, this site is doing exactly what I meant it for:  a place to post my articles and perspective, and if enough people end up coming around, it can be a little more busy.  as it stands, I get plenty of traffic (we’re regularly ranked on Alexa around 120,000, which is good for a site that is not very busy).

the other reason this site was created was as a backup for other forums, like Waronyou.com’s forums.  I am a moderator there, and that site is pretty busy, so it makes more sense for me to hang around over there while my writer’s block is happening than to sit around an empty site posting and posting with little feedback.

I don’t expect this site to take off without a lot of hard work, which is what I don’t have time for or the motivation for at the moment.

anyway, thanks for bringing me the traffic you have.
