The Evil in our Lives.

Creeping Evil.

I am an American. I have been born in a paradise that I was raised to respect and protect. My early years were spent learning how to live without the help of money or political support. Life was simple and enjoyable. I had only to work and reap my rewards of an honest living. There are many like me who have been raised in the same manner and who have taught just like myself the values from my upbringing to my children, younger family and friends. I have been relied on to teach friends and their children the proper way to take wild game, butcher it and preserve it for food. To be there when someone, anyone needed me for support and comfort. There have been troubles in my life and situations beyond my control that I have accepted and continued on like I was taught. I see things are not that way anymore and they are not what they should be. I am seeing an evil creep into everyone.

Where the Evil Things are.

In this great country there has been a change taking place. The generations have fallen into a way of life that doesn't teach the true values and morals that were carried down to me from my ancestors. They had parents who were mislead and tricked into believing they had to attain a high status in a hierarchy that in truth never existed in reality but was a mere state of mind. This state of mind was a twisted idea, a sour seed planted by society that contained the devastating ingredients of jealousy, greed, and hate. This seed sprouted forth into a thorny weed that entangled the hearts and minds of all who accepted it. This prickly vine passed from parent to child.  Men, Women and their children becoming more and more self-centered, rude and immoral. Today people are held higher for appearances and not actions. The heart is not truly into what they accomplish but their vanity and pride take precedent over just being a friend and a neighbor. Fame and the famous are the kings and queens that rule over these people.

What the Evil does.

Today these same people are in charge of everything that we all are a part of. From the septic tank pumper all the way to the White House. We the People, the backbone of these United States have been pushed aside and left lying in alleys and gutters throughout this heaven we call America. Corruption and greed are normal. No longer are you accepted for being simple and happy. You must comply to the rules of which you had no hand in creating. What is normal to you is now considered criminal. Perhaps it is our own fault for not being more vigilant but we were taught to mind our own business and not meddle in the affairs of other people. Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness would be guaranteed if you harmed no one and helped anyone. Our freedom is slipping from our grasp. Another change is on the horizon. Not the change offered by false prophets or political figures. Not the change your kings and queens of glamor and glitter have pushed on you. This change is for the better. The time when all of us take back what we have lost.

Waking up to the Evil.

One of the most important lessons I was taught was to be fair and honest. That simple lesson is more important than all the riches of the world. Stand on your own two feet. Stop being a slave to the masters that steal away our freedoms. It may not affect you now but it soon will.  Just being free and happy is becoming a commodity in short supply for the average human being. Just trying to live has become a struggle with no relief in sight. The greed and corruption has taken over the hearts and minds of those we seek to protect us and help us in times of need. It has a firm grasp on our neighbors, our families and our friends. The task at hand falls to those of us who have not given up our souls to the material world. The ones who have earned our keep through hard work and kind hearts. We must bring together the simple things like honor and trust. We must prove that people can be happy and live side by side no matter their race, religion, creed or belief. Don't allow anyone to place a label or name upon you other than free. It is time for this change, the change for the better. There will be no masters when the slaves slip their chains and walk away.

Stop the Evil Amongst Us.

It is a sad realization that many regular people in this country and in the world have adopted the ways of the corrupt. It is not a way of life; It is a sickness that destroys minds and bodies. Not just themselves but everyone around them. It is a contagious disease. I have seen a lot of evil in this world amongst leaders and rulers. I see more and more of it reaching into the lives of everyday regular people. The evil can be expected from some but it has become a normal reality for everyone. From corrupt police to the cowards who watch and do nothing. Where are the morals and the pride of doing the right thing? Why have many cast them away? I think it is because it is easy to be hateful and evil, it takes work to be good and caring. It takes an unselfish person to stand up to a stronger force no matter the consequences. It is easy to look the other way and tough as hell to rush head-on into the fray. Don't you think it is time we all stopped letting the evil in and stopped taking the easy way out?
